Short version: we collect what you type into the intake form, basic first-party analytics we run ourselves, and our email correspondence. No third-party trackers, no ad networks, no selling of your data. Last updated August 24, 2026. Questions: hello@recordpipe.com.
What we collect
Intake form. What you submit: your name, company, work email, segment, the dataset you describe, volume, delivery format, refresh preference, analysis preference, budget range, and your answer to the FCRA use-case question. This becomes your request record — it is how we quote and deliver your work.
Site analytics, run by us. Our pages load a small first-party script that records: a random visitor identifier and a random session identifier (stored in your browser's local/session storage — not your identity), the pages you view and in what order, how you arrived (referrer and campaign parameters), time on page, scroll depth, and which links you click. It is sent to our own endpoint. There are no third-party analytics scripts, no advertising cookies, and no external requests of any kind — this site loads its own fonts and assets.
Email. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence.

What we do with it
Intake data is used to assess, quote, and deliver your request, and to communicate with you about it. Site analytics are used to understand which pages and topics matter to visitors so we can improve the site. Email is used to conduct email. We do not use your intake data to build profiles about individuals, and we do not use it for any purpose other than the engagement you asked about.
What we never do
We never sell your personal data. We never share your intake data with data brokers or advertisers. We never work with breached or stolen datasets, and we never collect private personal information — as a company, that line applies to how we treat you as well as to the data products we build.
Deliverables and the data we build
Retention
Request records are kept while the business operates — they are the record of what buyers ask for and what we quoted. Analytics events are kept in aggregate form to track the site over time. Email correspondence is kept for the life of the engagement it relates to.
Your choices
The visitor and session identifiers live in your browser — clearing your browser storage for this site removes them and starts you fresh. To see, correct, or delete your request record, email hello@recordpipe.com from the address you submitted and we will take care of it.
